What credentials do you (the home inspector) have?
I am Licensed in the State of Arkansas and have passed the Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics exam. I am a member of ASHI, and I am also trained in Septic Inspection, Mold, Thermal Imaging, Wood Destroying Organisms and Light Commercial Inspection Course.
Do I need to be at the home inspection?
You are more than welcome to be present at the home inspection, but it’s not necessary as I understand that many people are busy and can’t make it.
How long will the home inspection take?
A Home inspection is approximately 2-3 hours on an average (2000 square foot) house. This is dependent on what is found, the age and the factors.
How much will it cost?
This is a varying price it all depends on factors such as square footage, age of the home and risk towards the inspector.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes, my business is insured.
Can you do any repairs based on the findings of your inspection?
NO, per the Code of Ethics, a home inspector cannot do any repairs on a house within the first 12 months they inspect.
